«The ‘Life’ series is meant to be random spinets and insights to my journeys and adventures, not so much a single story. Or actually perhaps an ongoing story, which happens to be in no particular sequence or order. Other series’ such as ‘Metropolis’ and ‘Welcome Home’ are more along the lines of a story. I strive to document and capture authentic moments in time instead of incorporating an object or model to create the illusion of a “story” which I tend to stumble across heavily in modern day film photography.»

«I started ‘Metropolis’ at Burning Man in 2010. It was my third straight burn. I was there for about a week. I was frying my brain the whole time. Riding around on a bike in the playa. Trying to capture the precious moments and brilliant art. I have no idea how I didn’t lose my camera, all my film and my mind. The landscape is gorgeous, and the light is always perfect. A sensory overload in every way. I had quite an eventful burn in 2009 and many people were surprised I went again. But it was very well worth it.»
