Loïc Thisse: ‘Swan Of The Times’
«This body of work compiles early photographs from 2010 and 2011. They have in common to talk about time of course, about presence and absence in time: time falling in cascade, time frozen, time leaving or erasing traces, changing colors… I thought they made a fine collection of what I call “transparent memories”: in opposite to personal and factual memories, the transparent ones are memories without content, they are memories of a mood, of a context, of an atmosphere, of fortuitous details… I think they are some kind of primitive aesthetic sense».
