ALMOST AT HOME
«An archaic land, dazzled by unusual social templates, violent and unable for evolution. Every place there it seems to be a limbo. Life lies in wait, the landscape is turned in a shroud. This is the place where I was born, where I grew up with a steady need for detachment. Only during the years I managed to find this separation imposed by social and private factors. A remote place both in space and time, as much as in memory. An enclosed area, unfathomable, detached from my everyday life, but always present. Light as substance of invisibility, as an invitation toward the impossibility to see. The personal memory and the landscape meet each other to contemplate their own frailty. A further dimension, visible but intangible at the same time, bounds with the vanishing and burning horizon».
