YANIV WAISSA / «My photographic journeys lead me all across the country-my hometown, the city whre I currently live ans places I see for the first time through my camera lens. Wherever I go I examine the relationship between man and nature and the, sometimes absurd, connection and constant tension between past, present and future. I create an intimate atmosdphere in evry frame and put my personal feelings, emotions and nostalgia into it. Everywhere I go I recognize a personal memory that can ignite a collective memory of the viewer. I deal with the urban revolution, manifested in the massive construction of buildings, roads, bridges and all kind of huge concrete structures. Man is gradually reducing nature and neutralizes the past in his path.»

BERT DANCKAERT / Born in Antwerp, Belgium he studied photography at the Academy for Fine Arts and the National Higher Institute for Fine Arts (NHISK) in Antwerp (B). Since the mid nineties, he has been working as a photographer and has showed his work in several solo and group exhibitions in Belgium and abroad. Besides his artistic activities, Danckaert also writes about photography for several newspapers and magazines (mainly ART) and has worked as freelance curator. He is associate professor of photography at the Academy of Antwerp (B). In 1999, Danckaert started the series ‘Make Sense!’ which was published as a book in 2006. From 2006 on he is working on a series entitled ‘Simple Present’. In 2008 his second book ‘Simple Present - Beijing’ was published.

GREGORY JONES / Selections: 2009-2011 is the debut book of photographs made by artist/photographer Greg Jones.
